BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!! I normally don’t leave reviews, but this experience needs to be documented so others don’t go through what I did. I took my vehicle to this shop for a fuel-related issue and trusted them to properly diagnose and fix the problem. Instead, I was charged around $1,000 for work that did not resolve anything. The repair order I received was extremely vague and did not clearly explain what was actually done. When I picked up my vehicle, the issue was still present the SAME day. I brought it back, expecting them to stand behind their work, and instead was told it would cost even more money to continue “fixing” the problem. At that point, it became clear that there was no real diagnosis being done—just guesswork and charging. What’s even more concerning is the pattern of behavior. Looking at other reviews, I noticed the owner responds by attacking customers instead of addressing concerns. That says a lot about the level of professionalism and accountability here. I gave this shop an opportunity to make it right, and they didn’t. I left with the same problem I came in with, less money, and zero confidence in the work that was performed. I strongly recommend

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience here. I brought my vehicle in for a fuel injector issue and supplied my own parts. The shop proceeded with work without clearly communicating the scope, process, or total cost upfront. I ended up paying around $1,000 expecting the issue to be properly resolved. Within about a month, the exact same problem came back and the vehicle began dumping fuel, running poorly, and became undriveable. I had to tow it back to the shop. At that point, instead of standing behind their work, they initially tried to charge me again to fix the same issue. I was also told, without any proof, that someone else may have worked on the vehicle. After pushing back, they did additional work and returned the vehicle but the same issue came back immediately the same day I picked it up. At this point, I’ve lost confidence in their ability to properly diagnose or repair the vehicle. Between the repeated failure, lack of accountability, and poor communication, this has been a frustrating and costly experience. John was incredibly honest, both in terms of pricing and the work he recommended, which is something you don’t always find. My car issue could have easily turned into a more expensive repair involving spark plugs and coils, but instead of jumping straight to that, John took a thoughtful approach and tried a fuel injector solution first. That really showed he wasn’t just trying to upsell but genuinely wanted to fix the problem in the most efficient and cost-effective way. What stood out even more was that he followed up the next day to check how my car was running. That level of care and customer service is rare. I’m very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend Motorman Garage to anyone looking for honest and reliable auto repair.

The head mechanic is refreshingly honest and shockingly candid. He will tell you what he thinks is necessary and will do the work for you at a fair price. I brought a van to him and he looked at it for over a week, thought it might need a $2000 repair, but found out the real cause and didn't just throw on a new part to up his fees. Ended up paying less than a quarter the estimate. Never met a mechanic who turned down money before. We'll definitely be back.

John is a honest man that's true to his word. First shop I took my vehicle to wanted to charge me about 10k for a new engine. John was able to figure out the actual problem and have it fixed next day for a fraction of the cost. New customer for life and will highly recommend his shop to anyone.
